It's a
lot of money. Sobriety and being
clean and sober does not come cheap
by any stretch of the imagination.
But how much is someone really
worth? What is the cost of a son, a
daughter, a friend or a loved one?
How much does it cost to train one
single employee? Then compare how
much it cost for DUI Lawyers,
Divorce Lawyers, Criminal Defense
Attorneys, Psychiatrists, Therapist,
Hospital stays and the carnage left
in the wake of a drunk? Some people
have insurance to pay for their
cost, others do not. Some are able
to put some of the cost on a credit
card and others can apply for a new
credit card. Government loans and
grants are available and sometimes
church's and other religious
institutions can arrange for
treatment. Some of our clients need
a little financial help, others go
the self pay basis and put some down
and carry the balance over a pay as
you go, arranged payment schedule.
Each individual is unique and also
their financial condition is also
unique. We try to work with those
who need our help. We will contact
your insurance company for you and
find out exactly what benefits are
available for you. |
Most insurance companies include chemical
dependency treatment or medical detox
depending on the need. Most medically
supervised detox is done at a hospital and
of course this can run into the tens of
thousands of dollars. Often times, you can
use a social detox method that is monitored
and referral to a medical facility at any
point if it is found necessary and that can
be done at the alcohol and drug rehab
facility. Alcohol and drug rehab does not
necessarily involve medical treatment or
even medical supervision. It is only in rare
cases that Doctors, Nurses and Professional
Medical Care providers are needed or
necessary. All of this is very expensive and
probably less than one in twenty need such
services, but if needed, they are available.
Trained Doctors, Nurses and even Paramedics
are simply a phone call away and can arrive
in minutes. Contact us to see if you
insurance covers any or even a portion of
these cost. Be prepared to pay a CO-PAY or a
percentage of the bill out of pocket.
Deductibles are also usually found in most
Insurance coverage. A complete battery of
psychological testing is performed by a
State License Substance Abuse Counselor,
ADSAC Assessment, ADSAC classes and Court
DUI Assessments are also available and
included in the cost of admission. We need
to establish up front if you are a danger to
yourself or too others. This assessment
gives us that information we need.
A self pay financing program is available to
those who do not qualify for insurance,
government grants or loans. It usually
involves payment of some amount up front and
easy pay as you go payments over a period of
time that is comfortable on a payback basis.
The most important thing to remember is to
get help even if you do not have the ability
to pay. Many options are available and many
sources are available for funding. Do not
let money stand in your way from finding a
clean and sober life. You can not afford not
to get help or Rehab.
